The Guild of St Mary of Roncesvalles, re-founded in 1985, is now the largest in the province with over three thousand members.

La imagen de Santa María de Roncesvalles es una talla gótica [1] de madera policromada cubierta con plata elaborada en Toulouse en la primera mitad del siglo XIV y representando a la Virgen María sedente mirando a un Niño Jesús sobre su pierna izquierda, sostenido con el brazo izquierdo, que busca también la mirada de la madre. La composición rompe con las habituales donde tanto madre.
